Key Points for Venue Owners
Before you read the full Terms of Business, here's what you need to know:
- •You own your content (menus, photos, logos), but you allow us to display it on Tap Tap Pub.
- •You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of anything you submit or approve (including AI-generated content).
- •We can refuse, edit or remove content if it breaches standards, harms our reputation, or breaks the law (no refunds apply for removals linked to your breach).
- •Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel with 14 days' notice to accounts@taptap.pub.
- •Payments must clear before upgrades go live. Declined or reversed payments will suspend or downgrade your listing.
- •Fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
- •We do not guarantee more customers, footfall, sales, or bookings from listings or advertising.
- •Tap Tap Pub is not liable for negative reviews or business impact resulting from them. You may reply professionally or ask us to review a case if evidence supports it.
- •You must comply with UK licensing, advertising and data laws when submitting content and using any marketing features.
- •Analytics and insights are indicative only, not guaranteed performance results.

These Terms of Business ("Terms") govern the provision of Tap Tap Pub business services by G&J Hospitality and Technology Solutions Limited trading as Tap Tap Pub ("Tap Tap Pub", "we", "us", "our") to our business customers ("Client", "Advertiser", "Venue", "you", "your").
By purchasing, using or continuing to use our services, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Nature of Business
Tap Tap Pub operates a digital directory, advertising and data insights platform for licensed venues in the UK.
We provide business clients with:
- Venue Listings
- Advertising placements & sponsorship packages
- Digital profile tools
- Analytics and insights
- Optional printed promotional materials (where applicable)
The platform offers free access to general users (e.g., pub visitors, consumers).
3. Services Provided
3.1 Listings, Advertising & Digital Services
We provide tiered business services (Free, Standard, Featured, Tap Club, Corporate Featured) including:
- Display listings and enhanced profiles
- Event & live sports promotion
- Priority placement and promotional modules (where applicable to tier)
- Advertising placements (e.g., banners, MPUs, map placements, homepage spots)
- Business data & insights tools
- Optional printed marketing packs (where offered)
Use of specific features may vary by tier and may be updated over time.
3.2 Subscription Model & Payments
Services may be purchased through:
- Monthly subscriptions
- Annual / bi-annual subscriptions
- One-off advertising or insight purchases
3.3 Content Supply and Approval
Tap Tap Pub may create basic venue profiles using publicly available information.
Venues may claim and edit their profile once legitimate authority is established through:
- Premises Licence (or licence holder confirmation)
- Company documentation
- Other reasonable evidence requested by Tap Tap Pub
Tap Tap Pub retains final approval over all published content and advertising and may remove or refuse any content at our discretion.
3.4 Platform Reputation & Brand Protection
Tap Tap Pub may edit, restrict, or remove venue content, advertising, or access to tools if:
- It risks harming our brand or other venues
- It is defamatory, discriminatory, illegal or inappropriate
- It breaches advertising standards, licensing rules or UK law
- A venue becomes associated with illegal or harmful activity
- Payments remain overdue
Decisions are made at Tap Tap Pub's sole discretion. No refunds are due where removal is linked to your breach of these Terms.
4. Fees & Payment Terms
4.1 Standard Payment Terms
Invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payments via card should be made via Tap Tap Pub's payment platform and must be cleared before a profile is updated or upgraded.
Any declined or reversed payments will result in the account and/or upgraded features being suspended until the outstanding balance is cleared.
We may downgrade a venue back to the Free tier or restrict access if payment issues are not resolved.
4.2 Late Payments
If payments are overdue:
- Interest may be charged in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998
- Services, advertising, and/or access to dashboards may be suspended or removed
- We may withhold renewal or further promotions until payment is received
4.3 Automatic Renewals
All subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled per Section 5. You are responsible for updating payment details and cancelling before renewal if you no longer wish to use the service.
5. Cancellations & Termination
5.1 How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription via Stripe in your Profile area once logged in. Alternatively, you can email: accounts@taptap.pub
If emailing, please include:
- Venue name
- Contact details
- Subscription tier
- Cancellation request
Accessing Receipts: You can access any receipts in your Profile Page once logged in. Only the account admin can see this. If you need assistance accessing receipts, please email accounts@taptap.pub and we can send any receipts to the admin's email.
5.2 Notice Period
14 days' notice required
- Monthly plans end at the end of that billing period
- Annual/bi-annual plans run to the end of the agreed term (no pro-rata refunds)
5.3 Refunds
All fees are non-refundable, except where required by statutory rights.
5.4 Termination by Tap Tap Pub
We may suspend or terminate services where:
- Payments are overdue or repeatedly declined
- Content breaches our standards or UK law
- The venue poses reputational or legal risk
- These Terms are breached
We are not obliged to refund any portion of fees where termination is due to your breach.
6. Liability & Indemnity
6.1 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Tap Tap Pub's total aggregate liability to you (whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with these Terms and our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Tap Tap Pub in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law
6.2 Exclusions
Tap Tap Pub is not liable for:
- Loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill or loss of business
- Loss of anticipated savings or opportunity
- Reputational damage caused by user reviews or third-party content
- Any indirect or consequential loss or damage
- Technical outages, third-party integrations, hosting issues or internet failures outside our reasonable control
- Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in venue-submitted content
- Consumer actions, bookings, purchases or decisions made as a result of information on the platform
6.3 Indemnity (Venue Responsibility)
You agree to indemnify and hold Tap Tap Pub harmless from and against all claims, losses, costs, damages, expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Any breach of these Terms by you
- Any content you supply that is defamatory, misleading, unlawful, or infringes third-party rights (including copyright, trademarks or data protection)
- Your failure to comply with UK licensing, advertising or data protection law
This includes, where applicable, reimbursement of any fines, damages, settlement payments or penalties plus a 10% management and administrative fee.
6.4 No Guarantee of Results
Tap Tap Pub does not guarantee:
- A minimum number of clicks, views, bookings or footfall
- Any specific ranking in search results or map views
- Any particular commercial outcome from advertising or listings
Analytics, metrics and insights are indicative only.
7. Intellectual Property & Content Rights
7.1 Platform Ownership
Tap Tap Pub owns:
- The website, apps and code base
- System architecture, databases and design
- Branding, trade names and logos
- Proprietary analytics and tools
7.2 Venue Content Ownership
Venues retain ownership of their content (text, images, menus, logos) that they upload or approve.
7.3 Content Licence
By providing content, you grant Tap Tap Pub a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:
- Store, process and display content on the platform
- Use content in backups, archives and data integrity processes
- Use anonymised or aggregated data for analytics
- Use selected examples in marketing or case studies (excluding confidential information)
7.4 Copyright & Indemnity
Venues are fully responsible for ensuring that:
- They have the right to use and upload all content
- No content infringes third-party copyright, trademarks or image rights
If Tap Tap Pub suffers financial or legal loss due to a venue's breach, the venue will:
- Fully reimburse all costs, penalties, and damages, plus
- A 10% management and administrative fee
7.5 AI-Generated Content
AI-generated content is permitted; however:
- You must check it for accuracy, legality and compliance
- You accept full responsibility for all AI-generated content
- Tap Tap Pub has no liability for any inaccuracies, misleading statements, or copyright issues arising from such content
8. Confidentiality & Data Protection
Tap Tap Pub complies with:
- UK GDPR
- Data Protection Act 2018
You must ensure you have a lawful basis for submitting any personal data and, where using our tools for your own marketing, that you comply with all consent and unsubscribe requirements.
9. Dispute Resolution
- Parties will first attempt informal resolution within 28 days
- If unresolved, disputes may proceed to mediation or legal action

10. Content Standards (Acceptable Use)
All venue content and advertising must:
- Be accurate and not misleading
- Comply with UK law and licensing conditions
- Avoid profanity, hate speech, or discriminatory material
- Not promote binge drinking, drink-driving, drug use, or unsafe behaviour
- Not infringe copyright or trademarks
- Not defame any person or organisation
Tap Tap Pub may edit, refuse or remove any content or advertising that breaches these standards. No refunds are due where removal is linked to your breach.
11. User Reviews & Public Responses
- Reviews represent the opinions of users, not Tap Tap Pub
- Tap Tap Pub does not verify each review
- We are not responsible for any business impact arising from user reviews
Venues:
- May flag reviews they believe to be false, malicious or inappropriate
- May respond publicly, but replies must be professional and non-abusive
Tap Tap Pub may remove reviews or responses at its discretion where they breach standards or law. We are not obliged to remove content simply because it is negative.
12. Subcontracting
Tap Tap Pub may subcontract hosting, analytics, development, customer support and related services without reducing the standard of service or our compliance obligations.
13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Internet or infrastructure failures
- Hosting provider outages
- Strikes or industrial disputes
- Natural disasters or extreme weather
- War, terrorism or civil unrest
During such periods, service levels may be temporarily affected without any entitlement to refunds.
14. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or via the business dashboard.
Continued use of Tap Tap Pub's services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
