East Coast Pride

East Coast Pride is a registered charity dedicated to advocating, celebrating, and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community on the East Coast of Lincolnshire. Founded in late 2023 by a dedicated group of volunteers, they have rapidly grown into a significant force for positive change in our region.

Their Mission

East Coast Pride envisions a future where everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, can flourish in an atmosphere of equality, diversity, and inclusion. They organise vibrant, family-friendly Pride events in Skegness and surrounding areas, bringing together people from all walks of life to celebrate diversity and inclusion.

RNLI Skegness

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) Skegness is part of the UK's leading lifesaving charity, providing a 24/7 search and rescue service around the Lincolnshire coast. The Skegness lifeboat station has been saving lives at sea since 1825, making it one of the oldest and most respected stations in the country.

Their Mission

RNLI Skegness operates around the clock, 365 days a year, to save lives at sea. Their dedicated volunteer crew members are trained to the highest standards and are ready to respond to emergencies at a moment's notice, regardless of weather conditions.

What They Do

  • Provide 24/7 search and rescue services along the Lincolnshire coastline
  • Respond to emergencies at sea, including vessel breakdowns, medical emergencies, and rescues
  • Deliver water safety education to schools and communities
  • Maintain and operate state-of-the-art lifeboats and equipment

Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance

The Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance (LNAA) is a life-saving charity that provides critical care and rapid response to medical emergencies across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. Operating 24/7, 365 days a year, their helicopter and critical care cars bring hospital-level care directly to patients at the scene of emergencies.

Their Mission

LNAA's mission is to save lives and improve patient outcomes by providing the highest standard of pre-hospital critical care. Their specialist doctors and paramedics can perform advanced medical procedures at the scene, significantly improving survival rates and recovery outcomes for patients.

What They Do

  • Respond to life-threatening emergencies across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire
  • Provide advanced critical care at the scene, including blood transfusions and surgical procedures
  • Transport patients to specialist hospitals when time is critical
