Our Story
Tap Tap Pub began with a very simple thought. Finding a decent pub should never feel harder than choosing a pint at the bar. Yet every time we wanted a cosy Sunday lunch, somewhere with live music, or a family-friendly spot with proper food, the information was scattered all over the place. One menu here. A blurry photo there. Five different websites to check just to see if a pub allows dogs.
We knew there had to be a better way.
So we set out to build a single place where people could discover real pubs with real character. A place that brings the best of the UK's pub scene together and shines a light on local businesses that deserve more footfall and fewer empty tables.
Today, Tap Tap Pub helps thousands of people find great pubs across the country. We celebrate everything that makes British pubs special, from the regulars at the bar to the hidden beer gardens you only hear about through word of mouth. Most of all, we're here to support local landlords and the communities built around them.

Behind the Bar
Tap Tap Pub was created by two people who love pubs a little more than the average person. The kind who talk about Sunday roasts like they're fine art and can tell you exactly which pubs pull the best pints in a ten-mile radius. Both founders share a deep passion for British pub culture and a commitment to helping local hospitality thrive. Here's a bit about the people behind the bar, so to speak.
Brad Johnson
Founder | Business & Commercial Director
Brad grew up surrounded by the buzz of pub life, spending more evenings than he cares to admit helping his dad run a busy local. That early start grew into a real appreciation for the stories, characters and community spirit that make British pubs so special.
With a background in operations, strategy and events, Brad has spent years working on projects that bring people together. He has a knack for spotting what makes a venue stand out and a talent for making complicated things feel simple. Tap Tap Pub brings together his love of local pubs and his drive to support independent hospitality businesses. If there's a pub with great food, strong community spirit and a dog sleeping under a bar stool, Brad's already added it to his favourites.

Jack Gosling
Founder | Product & Technical Director
Jack has spent his entire working life in pubs and hospitality. He grew up in a family of landlords where pulling pints, running events and chatting to regulars was part of daily life. Over the years he's managed everything from cosy locals to high-energy town centre bars, often turning struggling venues into thriving ones with a mix of graft, good humour and proper customer focus.
Jack brings a real boots-on-the-ground understanding of what pubs need to succeed. He knows how much work goes into a well-run venue and why local pubs matter to their communities. Tap Tap Pub is his way of giving pubs the visibility they deserve while helping people find their new favourite place for a pint. If a pub has great atmosphere and even better staff, Jack will rave about it to anyone who'll listen.
